It was awesome. Unfortunately cooking and I have not been getting along in recent times. My mother-in-law's German pancake recipe has been a wonderful last-ditch friend of mine lately.<br /><br />1/2 c milk<br />6 eggs<br />1 c flour<br />2ish TBS sugar<br />splash or two vanilla<br />pinch salt<br />some cinnamon (this isn't a part of her recipe, but I like to add it)<br />2-4 TBS butter<br /><br />Brown the butter in a 9x13 pan by putting it in the oven while preheating it to 350 degrees. Mix everything else together until smooth. Here's...Today I made a sliced Rice Krispy loaf. Here's the recipe I used: <br /><br />1/4 cup butter<br />splash of vanilla (probably about 1/2 teaspoon)<br />12 jumbo marshmallows (they're about the size of a block of 9 AA batteries arranged to make the most cube-like shape)<br />5 cups of Crispy Rice Cereal product<br /><br />Melt everything except the cereal into a slurry over medium heat, then mix with cereal. Place in bread pan, let cool.
